I became a Personal Trainer after spending years behind a desk. I wanted to help others explore and thrive in there fitness goals. Working as a trainer allows me to be apart of a special community, surrounding myself with others that are positive, motivating and inspiring in making lives better.
As a trainer, I've built wonderful and rewarding relationships with clients and other fitness professionals. I've created lasting friendships with people as I watch them progress and transform into a healthier and happier versions of themselves.
Over the years of being a Personal Trainer I've realized everyone has different goals and different paths to achieve their goals. I enjoy making exercise fun, mindful and efficient. Putting together fitness programs is the first step to success, my passion is strength training and teaching others about nutrition. I don't believe in the idea of being a cardio bunny to lose weight.
I have been vegan for 4 years! I choose to have a diet that does not include any animal products. I have found much personal success with eating this way. Eating healthy doesn't have to be boring, but it does need to be consistent. We can find the path that works for you and your lifestyle.
My husband and I were blessed with the arrival of our daughter Emma Drew Tanner this past April. As a new mom I understand that life can be hectic and it's often tough to find time to workout. However, it's important to be an example for others, whether that is for your kids, family or spouse. Taking time to put yourself first may sounds selfish but it's not. My goal is to be that example, for my daughter, my husband, my family and my clients.
